Within our business here at Midwest Manufacturing & Mechanical, machining encompasses a large portion of what we do by taking a piece of raw material that is cut into a desired final shape and size by a controlled material removal process. In the precise field of machining, we create several types of products from lathes, milling machines, and drill presses as part of the manufacturing of metal products.

Much of our products are carried out by computer numerical control (CNC), in which computers are used to control the movement and operation of the mills, lathes, and other cutting machines.
